Believe it or not, This is the Tel Aviv Airport, and it doesn't get any better than this. No shopping places, or places to eat here. Just a checkin place basically. When You arrive, you get off the 747 outside, just like the President does, go inside and that is what you see. You look around and think, what the?Nothing fancy at all here. It sure is old. I don't know why it is like this. Possibly they are cheap with their money and don't see a need to invest in something like an updated international airport, or maybe they just don't care what anyone thinks, and don't try to impress anyone by building a fancy airport like we would have here even in the smaller American cities. Very quaint.

Nita, Bobi, Mom, Pam. Going up to the Mt. of Olives where Christ ascended into Heaven and is suppose to be where he returns at the second coming. The place where he ascended. On the other side of that brick wall is the cemetary where many Jews are buried. In fact it is covered with tombstones from the early Christian days. It is hill overlooking Old Jerusalem. It was a picturesque morning, about 5:00 am, the sun was coming up. Absolutely one of the very special moments there. I couldn't resist this shot. Also the sealed Eastern Gate, some call the Golden Gate is in the background there. I was told that it was sealed up in order to try to keep the prophecy from coming true. The prophecy says: When Jesus' feet touch down on the Mt. of Olives the EARTH will shake, and He will enter Jerusalem , this time, with Almighty Power and Glory and will enter through the Eastern Gate there. He will save mankind from complete annihalation and He will Rule and Reign forever. Selah.

The Eastern Gate is sealed, closed and not used as the other gates are. The Jews evidentally sealed it up, since Jesus said he would come through that gate when he returns. I really do not see how they keep the peace over there.. Besides the three calls for prayer from the Dome of the Rock tower with ringing, they continually play some kind of weird music, while those Jewish people are right up next to it, trying to pray at the Wall. It's kindof like putting up with jammers on the ham radio all the time.
